BLOOM Festival Set to Turn Perth Venues Into a National Stage for WA Artists

Get ready, Perth. A brand new festival is blooming into life this winter, and it’s bringing the future of WA music with it.

BLOOM Festival will erupt across The Rechabite, The Bird, and Mojos Bar on August 1st and 2nd, transforming beloved Perth live music venues into a two-day celebration of local sounds.

From the minds of Mark Neal (Blue Grey Pink, The Bird), Hayley Ayres (360 Artist Logistics), Emma Adams (Chipped Polish Mgmt, Mojos Bar Fremantle), and Skinny O’Leary (SIDEQUEST), BLOOM is more than a stacked weekend of gigs. It’s a chance to witness the next wave of WA music legends before the rest of the country catches on, and with national industry figures in attendance, spark connections, open doors, and seed future opportunities for local acts.

“This festival is not just a celebration of local talent, it’s a strategic step toward embedding WA more deeply into the national music conversation.”

Featuring a handpicked lineup of emerging powerhouses and rising stars, BLOOM promises genre-spanning sets, intimate moments, and electrifying performances, all curated with love by the people who live and breathe WA music.

Three venues. Two nights. One unmissable weekend. Whether you’re a die-hard local music fan, a curious gig-goer, or just chasing something new, BLOOM is for you.
