Hailing from Kalamunda, Western Australia, are alt-pop/ indie-rock group Dolce Blue (pron. Dolchay Blue), a four-piece band of high school friends who’ve been winning over ears and hearts alike with catchy songwriting, intimate lyricism, and slick guitar licks.
Compared to the dreamy stylings of Alvvays, Best Coast, and Aussie forerunners San Cisco and Ball Park Music, Dolce Blue’s releases have seen features in RTRFM’s most played songs from 2020 to 2023, in addition to national radio coverage on Triple J and Unearthed, and support opportunities with the likes of Sly Withers, Shag Rock, Noah Dillon, Lucy Peach, Dulcie, Little Quirks, and Ghost Care. Signed with West Australian Music’s (WAM) Label of the Year Blue Grey Pink, they recently released their second LP ‘Sweet Melancholy’ and toured the record nationally, which included an unofficial showcase at BIGSOUND 2023. Currently back in the studio, prepare for more music and touring from the group in 2024!
