ANGIE COLMAN releases intimate new single RIVER SONG

Wyalup/Fremantle songwriter Angie Colman has really made her home in the port city, becoming a regular on the cities best stages. Originally growing up in the Perth hills, Angie has always had a healthy connection with the land in WA.

River Song is a beautiful testament to family and home, but also a celebration of the Swan river (Nyungar: Derbarl Yerrigan) which Perth was built around.

Over the last year Angie Colman has grown to be one of the most in demand voices in Perth. Sharing the stage with acts like Melody Pool, King Stingray, Thelma Plum, Paul Dempsey, Noah Dillon and Sly Withers. Angie’s charming and heartfelt songwriting has connected to so many people in a short time, and seen the band flourish.

Angie’s ability to capture and carry so much emotion in her voice and guitar work sets her above the growing songwriter scene in WA. Between touring regionally and solo tours across the rest of the country, Angie has recorded another winner in “River Song”.

An intimate track about home, growing wiser and more comfortable in her surroundings, all while mourning the loss of her youth. Recorded with Ryan K Brennan (Phantastic Ferniture, Julia Jacklin) in Boorloo Perth.

“I’m keen to sit under the shade of a tree at a festival and let angie belt out a few tunes like this!” Declan Bynre, Triple J

“I’m moved. You’ve moved me.” Tommy Faith, Triple J

“[My] first introduction to Angie Colman’s music and it’s an absolute pleasure to make your acquaintance. A warmly spun yarn – like Lahey and Barnett’s lil protegee.” Dave Ruby Howe, Triple J
